Ma technique consiste d’abord à peindre à l’eau. C’est le médium le plus magique. Lorsque je suis satisfait de la façon dont l’eau est répartie sur le papier, je commence à ajouter les couleurs. Je contrôle où l’eau va et comment les couleurs réagit. J’ai une idée de ce que je veux peindre quand je commence mais une fois les couleurs sont portées par l’eau, c’est la peinture qui me dirige jusqu’au bout.

My technique consists first of all in painting with water. It is the most magical medium. When I’m happy with how the water is distributed on the paper, I start adding the colours. I control where the water goes and how the colours react. I have an idea of what I want to paint when I start but once the colours are carried by the water, it’s the painting that leads me to the end.
