I frequently imagine what the first life might look like emerging within our seas millions of years ago.  This series of works is inspired by what may have been; hot chemical mixtures, the energy of the sun through a thin atmosphere, heat vents from the bottom of the sea and the first amorphous cells emerging capable of dividing, of reproducing.
